Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Executive to manage the procurement, transportation, and storage of raw materials for our organization. The successful candidate will ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials to support production requirements. The Logistics Executive will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers to optimize the raw material supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Coordination:

• Plan and coordinate the transportation of raw materials from suppliers to warehouses or production facilities.
• Arrange for storage, handling, and delivery of raw materials.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials.
• Conduct periodic stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
• Implement inventory optimization strategies.

Supply Chain Optimization:

• Analyze and improve the raw material supply chain to reduce costs, lead times, and inventory levels.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Implement sustainable supply chain practices.

Performance Metrics: Raw material availability and stock levels.

• Raw material availability and stock levels.
• Supply chain costs (transportation, storage, inventory holding).
• Lead times and delivery performance.
• Supplier performance and compliance .

Education & Experience

2-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or procurement. Experience in raw material procurement and logistics coordination.

Must Have

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.  Proficient in logistics software (e.g., ERP, TMS, WMS).  Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
